I would love the opportunity to contribute to your special day, capture your family’s memories, or record your organization’s event.
For weddings and other events, I use a mix of candids, posed shots and detail shots to tell the story of the day, capturing those special moments and all the little subtleties that go into creating a beautiful event.
I understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera and I make every effort to help clients relax and enjoy their photo sessions. I want to ensure that your best you comes out in every shot.
I offer a variety of albums incorporating different sizes and covers. The standard album offered as part of the “Something Blue” wedding package is a 12″ X 12″ 24-page hardcover album with thick, rigid pages, printed on quality photo paper. Our “A Sixpence in Your Shoe Package” includes a similar 30-page album.
Albums are also offered as part of engagement session packages. These can be used as guestbooks at the wedding. A great keepsake!
What to Wear
What you will wear to a photo session depends on the purpose of the shoot and on your personal style. Our best advice is that you wear something comfortable. That said, you may also want to consider the following:
- For couple or group photos, think about what you will wear ahead of time and try to coordinate your looks. You need not get too “matchy, matchy”, but dressing in similar tones can result in a consistent feel to the photos.
- While we do love bold, bright colours, sometimes bright clothing can detract from the subject of the photo (ie. you).
- Avoid clothing with loud, busy patterns, text and logos, which draw attention away from you.
